Catholic Charities was established in 1941 by Archbishop Robert E. Lucey as the social service arm of the San Antonio Archdiocese. It serves as the coordinating agency for other archdiocesan welfare programs, centering especially on the welfare of families and children in need. This dedicated Catholic Charities Endowment Fund assists in the mission and ministry of Catholic Charities. The Endowment’s purpose is specifically limited to providing annual distributions to support the mission and ministry of Catholic Charities- to provide for the needs of the community through selfless service under the sign of love. With a network of social services to help those from conception to end of life, Catholic Charities offers the help individuals and families need, when they need it most. The Catholic Charities Endowment provides a vehicle for the broader community of San Antonio to share a part of their legacy by contributing to this endowment. Consider making a difference in perpetuity by donating to the Catholic Charities Endowment Fund.
