Founded in 2006 by Episcopal Decree, the Catholic Community Foundation is an autonomous pious foundation formed under Canon Law. We are dedicated to faithful financial stewardship, helping ensure that resources entrusted to us are managed with care, integrity, and full alignment with Catholic teaching in support of the Church’s mission.

The Catholic Community Foundation serves parishes, schools, and Catholic ministries across South Central Texas and throughout the 19 counties of the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

Through faithful stewardship, we partner with local donors and ministries to ensure resources are managed in alignment with Catholic teaching, strengthening the Church and supporting its mission across our communities.

How We Manage Funds

All investments entrusted to the Catholic Community Foundation are managed in full alignment with Catholic teaching and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Socially Responsible Investment Guidelines, allowing faith-based investing to achieve financial growth while staying true to your values.

Independent from the Archdiocese

The Catholic Community Foundation is a separately incorporated Catholic foundation with its own Board of Directors, supported by an Investment Committee and an independent financial advisor. While supporting Catholic entities in South Central Texas, CCF remains independently governed to ensure careful stewardship and long-term support for Catholic ministries.

Catholic Community Foundation staff oversees and administers all operations of the Foundation with professionalism, transparency, and a deep commitment to Catholic values.

Alison Cochrane

President & Chief Executive Officer

Alison leads the Foundation with decades of experience in nonprofit leadership and executive management. She holds an MBA from the University of Texas – Permian Basin and has served various Catholic and community organizations in San Antonio.

Jennifer Poppe

Operations Coordinator

Jennifer oversees operations with a background in contract management, procurement, and organizational administration. She holds an MBA from St. Mary’s University.
